The São Paulo Schools of Advanced Science (ESPCA) is supported by FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation) and brings together scientists and students in short courses to analyze advanced topics in various areas of research, in addition to seeking to promote the attraction of young talents, committed to academic excellence.

The ESPCA on Emerging Pollutants was conceived as an intensive and interdisciplinary theoretical-practical course and aims to contribute to the training of graduate students and postdoctoral researchers from various areas of knowledge, developing and deepening technical knowledge, broadening their vision to foster multi and interdisciplinary approaches necessary for this complex topic.

Expert Lectures

The lectures delivered by renowned speakers, including international and Brazilian experts, will provide participants with access to knowledge and integrated discussions that will contribute to their interdisciplinary training.

The school will also help students establish important connections for their careers, offering an excellent opportunity for networking and professional development.

Program

The School will be a multidisciplinary platform to raise awareness about emerging pollutants, their diverse nature, potential risks and possible solutions to address this problem. Check out the full program.

100 students worldwide will be selected based on an assessment considering the applicant’s research area, academic history, CV, research projects, recommendation letter. The primary target audience includes undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral students.

Travel, accommodation, food and travel insurance (for foreign participants) of selected students will be fully financed by FAPESP.
